Focused Dog Training
Hello Friends! I'm Faith- trainer over here at Dog Daze.
A little about me: I'm originally from Illinois, around the Chicagoland area, and landed in Kalamazoo to attend business school at WMU in my younger years. Following graduation, I let my passion for dogs really thrive and continued with my career in the pet space.
I've been working professionally in the training and dog care world in Southwest MI for the past 4 years. My passion lies in working with high-energy dogs, as I engage in various sports and activities with my own pets. Moreover, I have a deep empathy for reactive dogs and understand their unique requirements. I believe in actively pursuing opportunities to build skills and improve techniques at every turn, as the training world is ever evolving.
My training style focuses on building a strong relationship with your dog first, then working together as a team to find what may work best for your specific situation. Here at Dog Daze, we believe in balanced training to provide clear and effective communication in a way our dogs understand. We are here to help!

Individual Training Options
Single Session
A single 60-min session personalized to your individual training needs. Limited to 1 dog per session. Follow-up emails, homework and continuous training communication not included outside of your training block.
Puppy Package
The Puppy Package includes six 45 min sessions and will encompass all of the beginning building blocks to set your puppy up for success as he/she grows into an adult. Each skill will be able to transfer to more advanced skills as your dog ages, creating the best outcome as you build your relationship with your dog. Your puppy will learn how to be rewarded, what boundaries look like, how to walk on a leash and more!
Follow-up emails, homework and continuous training communication are included throughout your sessions.
Basic Dog Package- 4 Sessions
This Basic Dog package consists of four 60 min sessions (depending on package choice) and includes a touch up on your dog’s basic skills including sit/down/stay, introducing your dog to a reliable recall and working on loose leash walking with added distractions throughout the weeks.
Follow-up emails, homework and continuous training communication are included throughout your sessions.
Behavior Training Package- 4 Sessions
Ideal for reactive or shy dogs, this Behavior Training package consists of four 60 min sessions and will be extremely individualized to your dog’s specific needs and what you’d like your end goal to look like. We require a consultation before any sessions occur in order to best serve you and your pet. We take reactivity cases, barrier frustration, resource guarding, and possible other behavior issues. We are NOT taking on known bite history cases at this time.
Follow-up emails, homework and continuous training communication are included throughout your sessions.
Behavior Training Package- 6 Sessions
Ideal for reactive or shy dogs, this Behavior Training package consists of six 60 min sessions and will be extremely individualized to your dog’s specific needs and what you’d like your end goal to look like. We require a free consultation before any sessions occur in order to best serve you and your pet. We take reactivity cases, barrier frustration, resource guarding, and possible other behavior issues. We are NOT taking on known bite history cases at this time.

TRAINING POLICIES
Cancellation Policy
Group Training Policy: We request 48 hrs notice of cancellation prior to any group training in order to receive a full refund. We do not offer split packages for summer sessions.
Single Session Policy: We request 48 hrs notice of cancellation prior to any scheduled training in order to receive a full refund.
Private Training Policy: We request 24 hrs notice of cancellation prior to your scheduled training. If notice is not received, any missed session will be counted towards your total package sessions.
Payment Policy
We require payment in full of any single sessions or packages 5 days prior to any scheduled training (group class and/or private training). Failure to pay in full will result in cancellation of any reservation or services.
